Snow Closure
Tuesday, February 5, 2008
On January 31, 2008 Oregon Institute of Technology held classes as normally scheduled even though both city and county schools were closed as well as Klamath Community College and a number of day care and head start facilities. ASOIT feels the decision to keep campus open on this day was a danger to students, faculty and staff. We propose that in the future, if city, county and KCC are all closed, OIT should join in the closure. If you agree with this please sign our petition! Petitions are available in the following locations:
ASOIT Office
CU Info Desk
CFLAT
CU Bistro
There will also be a student forum about campus safety (should they be allowed to carry guns, how safe do you feel on campus etc...) and the snow closure policy. This forum will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 3pm in Mt. Scott.

New Web-master
Monday, September 24, 2007
Well folks, I am stepping down as the web-master for ASOIT. It was a great year, and I appreciate all of the feedback and support, and it is now time for me to pass on the torch. Please be patient for the first few weeks of the term as we iron out some wrinkles and get my replacement up-to-speed on the system, and in the meantime keep your suggested stories coming. We appreciate any feedback!
Please email me using the link at the bottom of this page, or by clicking
here. Thank you all!
